Sora Matte Bowl

This piece is crafted using a technique inspired by Buncheong ceramics — a traditional Korean method.
The form is shaped using iron-rich red clay, then coated with a layer of white slip before being finished with glaze.
As a result, each piece reveals intentional iron speckles and a sense of depth in its texture. In some areas, the reddish clay body may subtly emerge through the surface — a natural and distinctive characteristic, not a flaw.

Finished with a matte glaze, this ceramic may show crazing (fine glaze lines caused by the differential shrinkage between clay and glaze) and may develop metal marks when used with metal cutlery.
These marks are common with matte finishes and are considered a natural part of the piece’s aging and usage.

매트 유약 특성상, 흙과 유약의 수축 차이로 인해 **관입(크레이징)**이 생길 수 있으며
금속 커트러리 사용 시 메탈 마크가 발생할 수 있습니다.
이는 매트 도자기의 자연스러운 특성으로, 시간과 함께 더욱 아름다운 사용의 흔적으로 남게 됩니다.
